Peg Hurley Dawson, LMHC, CST
This group welcomes all men who are concerned about their consensual sexual behavior which they feel is out of control. The group experience is designed for individuals to work with their new vision of a positive sexual health plan.
The group will help men confront their current sexual behaviors, achieve their vision of sexual health, and gain control of their lives. It is open to men of any sexual orientation. The group will benefit men who are motivated to improve their lives and maybe dealing with some of the following issues:
• Struggling in a relationship due to their O.C.S.B.
• Have feelings of shame, fear, discuss or guilt.
• Out of control masturbation or partnered sex
• Engaging in sex that results in distress.
Prospective group members will complete a sexual health assessment prior to joining this group. The assessment is designed to clarify sexual behavior concerns and determine if they may benefit from a group setting and will be completed in individual sessions with Peg before joining this group.
*For men who are involved in non-consensual behavior a referral will be provided to another professional who specializes in non-consensual sexual behavior. See also Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers: www.ATSA.com
Peg understands there are many dynamics when someone you love struggles with OCSB. At times it may feel like you are alone, that it will never get better or you will have to leave the relationship. Before making any decisions please feel free to take a moment and contact Peg to see how she may help.
