Non Traditional Relationship Therapy
Peg welcomes: Polyamorous relationships, Mixed Orientation Relationships, Open Relationships and Swingers.
"Coming together is a beginning; keeping together is a process; working together is success."
“I describe a soul mate as a ‘soul-nurturing mate’- someone who nurtures your soul-thereby promoting insight and growth.”
When a partnership is not working yet the individuals still either need to co-parent or keep in contact, Peg will invite each person to maintain clarity, compassion and focus on their intended goals in maintaining their relationship needs.
Trauma, Sex and Relationship Therapist in North Andover, MA
As someone in a non-traditional marriage, I appreciated Peg's understanding of polyamory and how it can be successfully managed in the context of a marriage. She is a compassionate, insightful and honest therapist. She used a variety of techniques to teach us to improve our communication and facilitate healing. She gently but firmly challenged us and pushed us to make changes that could save our relationship. It was obvious that Peg cared deeply about both of us and was invested in showing us a path to improve our relationship.
"The ideal is to stay married. But if you can't stay married, wouldn't the ideal be that you could still be a family and you could put aside your own stuff long enough to explore — what is this new family and who am I in it?”
In all relationships we each have our own needs, agendas and perspectives. Peg will help each partner to first explore, understand and value these needs. Through caring and empathic communication each of you will then learn about the needs and aspirations of your partner. With these insights Peg will then help each partner to connect with their inner wisdom which will guide the relationship.
